Description   Short Soft Sheepskin: Brown Mix This is a full sheepskin pelt that's hand cut along the natural curves of the leather hide. 38 inches long 21 inches wide 3 inch wool pile The dimensions are measured from the fleece side, from the ends of the feet to the tip of the nose in length and the widest middle part of the width. Our raw hides are sourced in the traditional sheep regions of Europe, and the tanning is done in small batches according to strict European Union regulations related to processing leather. For more information, see the page About Our Sheepskins. The color of this sheepskin is natural (never bleached or dyed). It is not over processed or standardized. No two sheepskins are ever exactly alike. The backside is the tanned leather of the hide with the fleece intact. It is a byproduct of the agricultural cycle of raising lamb, so there may be minor scrapes in the leather that do not affect the appearance of the fleece. This item is one of a kind.
